Thank you for visiting my web site.

I have lived in Guelph since 1982 and in Ward 2 since 1995. Although my roots are rural, I have grown to love this City. It is where I raised my kids; where I finished my education; and where I was a small business owner for 18 years. It is my community.

While local politics is a family tradition, I have until recently satisfied my appetite for local involvement through volunteer activities. Now, motivated by frustration with the direction of our development and a concern for our future, I’ve decided to run for Council. The Guelph that I moved to in 1982 is losing qualities that made it a great place to raise a family and run a business. Growth is not the problem. The problem is a pattern of development that ignores the needs of the community and the aspirations of its citizens.

I want a Council that understands the values and hopes of its citizens. I want to restore civility and camaraderie on Council. And I want Council to solve our urgent problems and develop policies and plans that will carry us successfully into the future.

Elect me to Council, and I will hold regular open house meetings in my ward to keep the lines of communication between you and Council open. I need to know your ideas and opinions to represent you effectively on Council.
Please get out and vote.

Let’s work together.
